When connected to a Virtual Places community, the Virtual Places Indicator is to the left of the browser location field. The indicator displays the status of the connection to the community and whether or not you have entered the room.

INDICATOR	STATUS
	You are connected to a community and have entered the room
	You are connected to a community and have not entered the room
	This "wait" status indicates that you are connecting to, or awaiting input from, a community server. This state should be temporary as you change positions in the room, or move from room to room (change URLs).
	This "disconnected" status indicates that you are not connected to a community server.

In addition, the indicator offers shortcuts to the Enter Room and Community Servers options.
