Gestures are sent to others in your currently selected chat. Gestures may be &quotsent" on their own, or together with text. Following are some of the gestures currently supported: smile, frown, wink, cry, look around, love, idea, thinking, handshake, and wave. Use the Gestures Palette to select the gesture. Note that you can add gestures to your Gestures Palette.

The selected gesture can be displayed as an animated graphic in a cartoon-like balloon above your avatar, and as text in the recipients' chat pane, as follows:
