Community news messages are broadcast by the community administrator to everyone connected to the community server. Messages are displayed in the What's Hot tab, accessible from the Chat Mode Manager. A message can be composed of text and a graphic. It may also contain a link, indicated by a change in cursor and underscored blue text, to information on the Web. Click on the text to follow the link.

Broadcasts are a direct way for members of a community to be notified of interesting or new information around the Web, for example, a celebrity appearance in a Virtual Places chat session.
