Following installation, the default guided tour is set for two people (guide and one passenger) and is called <Your Name>'s Tour. You can modify it and save your changes as a new default tour.

Setting Default Tours

1. Select Guided Tours, Set Up Tour.

The Setup Tour dialog box is displayed.

2. Click a tour size. 

The corresponding vehicle is displayed in the dialog box. The small tour icon is 48X40 pixels; the large tour icon is 144X64 pixels.

3. Optionally change the tour name by entering new text in the Tour Name field.

4. Optionally change the tour picture, as follows:

Press the Change... button.

The Open dialog displays, with a tour garage from which you can select a tour graphic. Alternately, you can browse your directory structure, and choose an appropriate GIF file.

Note: You can add your own tour graphics to the tour garage (see Adding Pictures to the Tour Garage below.
Select a graphic from the Tour Garage.

Press OK to close the Tour Garage.

End the dialog by one of the following:

• press the OK button
• drag and drop a tour graphic onto the Web page, exiting the dialog box and starting the selected tour

Virtual Places has supplied a gallery of tours, which is installed in the location defined in the Preferences dialog box. You can add other tour graphics of your own as follows:

1. Prepare a graphic (48X40 pixel GIF for small tours, 144X64 pixel GIF for large tours) using an appropriate graphics package and/or scanner.

2. Determine which directory contains the tour garage on your system, by opening the Preferences dialog box.

3. Using the file tools under your window system, move or copy the graphic you prepared to the appropriate directory.

The next time you open the Tour Garage after selecting the appropriate tour size, the new graphic will be displayed with the other tours in the garage.
