You can start or stop your own guided tour of Virtual Places. If you start a tour you are the driver and others who join your tour are your passengers. When you navigate the Web, your passengers navigate along with you automatically. As the tour guide, you also have the ability to eject people from your tour.

Starting a Guided Tour 

1. Enter the room. 

The Start Tour option is not available if you are observing.

2. Select the Guide a Tour option by one of the following:

• select Guided Tours, Guide a Tour
• select the Guide a Tour option in the shortcut menu on your presence
• drag a tour icon from the Tour Setup dialog box onto the Web page

Stopping a Guided Tour 

You can only stop a guided tour if you are its guide.

1. Stop the guided tour by one of the following:

• select Guided Tours, End Tour
• select End Tour in the shortcut menu on my presence
• select End Tour in the shortcut menu on my tour

Ejecting Others From Your Guided Tour 

You may wish to eject specific people from a tour you are guiding if they are uninvited or are interfering with your tour.

1. Select Eject from Tour from the shortcut menu on another presence on your tour.

The ejected tourist is removed from your tour and placed in the room.
