You can define an audio/video application (e.g., VDOPhone from VDONet), complying with the Virtual Places interface, to interact with Virtual Places.

Launching the Application

1. Select Tools, Start Audio/Video...

2. The Start Audio/Video dialog box is displayed.

3. Enter the name of the application, e.g., vdophone.

4. Press OK to start the application.

5. Virtual Places connects to the application if it is already running, or launches it.

Initiating a Call

1. If you have not already done so, launch the application.

2. Select the person you wish to call.

3. Select Call from the shortcut menu on the selected person.
