You can send a gesture by itself or together with a text message.

1. Optionally press the Gesture button (to the left of the Send button) and press a gesture button on the Gestures Palette.

The selected gesture replaces is displayed on the button, and the gesture icon is added to the Send button in the Chat Pane to indicate that you selected a gesture.

2. Optionally type your message on the text line of the selected chat mode.

3. Press the Send button or press Enter on the keyboard to send the message and/or gesture.

The animated gesture is displayed graphically in the conversation bubble over the avatar, and as text in the chat transcript of the Chat Pane.
