All active chats (and the What's Hot pane) are listed in the Chat Mode Manager. The chat currently displayed in the Chat Pane is indicated by a different color tab. You may also &quotexplode" the chat into a standalone window.

Selecting the Current Mode

1. Click on the entry in the Chat Mode Manager you wish to make current. 

The entry becomes current and selected in the Chat Mode Manager, and if in a standalone window, the window is selected.

Exploding Chat to a Standalone Window

1. Explode the chat to a standalone window by doing one of the following:

• Select Explode from the shortcut menu on the Chat Mode tab.
• Double-click on the tab in the Chat Mode Manager you wish to explode. 

Collapsing a Standalone Window to the Chat Pane

1. Collapse the chat from a standalone window to the Chat Pane by doing one of the following:

• Deselect Explode from the shortcut menu on the Chat Mode tab.
• Double-click on the entry in the Chat Mode Manager you wish to collapse. 
• Press Make Tab in the standalone window.
