Locating Virtual Places Activities

You can display information about the Virtual Places activity in your community and navigate directly to the area of activity of your choice.

Finding Places Activity

1. Open the Places Directory dialog box by one of the following:

  • select Go, Directory...
  • press Places to Chat button in the Toolbar

  • select Go, Favorite Places, and a place from the list
2. Use the tabs to move between the following panes:
  • Cool Places - all Virtual Places defined by the community administrator
  • All Places - all Virtual Places - both those that are currently active and those defined by the community administrator
  • Special Events - all auditorium events
Each pane displays a list of places, with the Place name or location and the number of peole in each place (number of observers is in parentheses). 

3. Optionally click the place to which to navigate.

Your Web browser will navigate to the selected place.

Adding Favorite Places

You can add favorite places via the Favorite Places option in the Go menu.

Adding via the Favorite Places Option

1. Make sure you are in the place you want to add to the Favorite Places.

2. From the Favorite Places menu of the Go menu, select the Add to Favorites option.

Deleting Favorite Places

1. From the Favorite Places menu of the Go menu, select the Organize Favorites option.

2. Click the Place you wish to delete from the favorite places list.

3. Press the Delete Favorite Place (Vplaces00000049.gif) button.
