This dialog box helps you find other people in your Virtual Places community.

Search Entry

This section of the dialog box allows you to define your search.

Search for

A place for you to type all or part of the string you are searching for. The search includes the following fields: screen name, name, email address.

Exact Match

When this box is checked, the VPlaces search returns only those items which exactly match the entered string.

Case Sensitive

When this box is checked, the VPlaces search returns only those items whose string and case (upper and lower) match the entered string.

Locate

Begins the search.

Stop

Ends the search.

New Search

Begins a new search, causing you to lose the results of your previous search.

Search Results

This section of the dialog box displays your search results. You can right click on a selected person in the list to access menu options on someone else's avatar.

Screen Name

User screen name, which is displayed under your picture in your travels in Virtual Places. 

Name

User's name.

Location

URL of the user's current place.

View Identity

View the identity of the selected user.

Send IM

Send an instant message to the selected user.

Go to Place

Go to the Place of the selected user.
