This dialog allows you to send an offer of a file (file, gesture, avatar) to a selected person.

File

The full path of the file to send. Files may be up to 60K in size. (Note that you may not change the file between the time it is offered and the time it is successfully sent.)

Browse...

Opens a dialog box for you to browse the file system for the file to send

Gesture

The name of the gesture file to send. The gesture file has an extension of .vpa and is in the Gestures directory.

Browse...

Pops up the Gestures palette for you to select a gesture

Avatar

The name of the avatar file to send. The avatar file is a GIF file up to 5K in size.

Browse...

Opens a dialog box for you to browse the file system for the avatar file to send

Send 

Sends a message offering the potential recipient to accept the file; closes the dialog box. The file is not sent until the recipient accepts it.

Cancel

Closes the Send File dialog box without sending the file offer
