The Auditorium

This virtual auditorium works pretty much like an auditorium works in real life. Basically, you're sitting in a virtual &quotrow" and looking at a virtual &quotstage" where you can send questions and comments to the host/emcee of the event and talk to your favorite personality. While viewing the event you can chat with other audience members in your row. Use the Locate feature to look for your friends online...ask them to join you in your row!

AUDITORIUM FEATURES

Chat Rows

When you enter an auditorium, you are seated in the first available seat. You can later move to another row using the Auditorium Map. Once seated you can see and chat with the other members in your row. All features (View Identity, Ignore, Alert, etc) are available on other members in your row. Only members in the same &quotrow" as yours can see the text you type to your row. Use the Seat Map to &quotrow hop" in order to find and socialize with other members in other rows.

If you find the typing of other members distracting or inconvenient to your concentration while watching the event, you may ignore the row chat by clicking on the Auditorium tab.

Event Transcript

If the event has already started, you might want to request a copy of the event transcript, which will be downloaded to the Auditorium pane of your chat.

Participating in the Event

Since members drive our events, you are encouraged to talk to all of the guests that appear in the Virtual Places Auditorium. Simply select the Participate option in the Auditorium menu and select Comment or Question. Type whatever you'd like and Send.

The comments and questions are automatically stored in question queue and are fielded by the Emcee or the event host.
