If you download Excite Chat, but cannot connect to a Chat room:

• The server may be down or is not accepting connections.
• Either a proxy server or firewall prevents you from connecting to the chat room and/or the port used is blocked. If you are behind a firewall or use a proxy server to connect to the Internet, check with your system administrator to get access to the Chat room.
