If you have downloaded some of the games from our software page, you first have to install them then you can start games with your next session of VP. In the welcome dialog box, click 'install'.
To play the game you must be in VP. From the 'games' menu in VP, choose 'start a game' or right click on your avatar and choose 'start a game'. The Games list appears, listing all the games you have installed. From this list, select the game. Click 'OK'. The 'game details' dialog box appears: Change settings if you want and then click 'OK'.
A 'Game' tab opens in the chat viewer with your avatar in it. This is where the game is played. The game appears as well as a miniature in the original Place with your avatar in it. When others join your game, their avatars will appear in the 'Game' tab and in the game display on the chat site.
You can also join a game by double clicking on the box or dragging it into it - when you have the game in question installed.
If you started a game, and you no longer want to play it, you can end the game at any time by clicking on the 'Games' menu, choose 'end game' or by right clicking your avatar and choose 'end game'. The Game tab closes and your avatar leaves the miniature game. You will still be in the chatroom where you started the game.
