Netscape works fine with VP. All versions above 3.0 have been tested with VP 2.1.1 by VPS without encountering any troubles.
Sadly the versions 155 or higher will not work with Netscape.

If you have Internet Explorer and Netscape installed on your system and you want to use VP with Netscape it will get tricky, if you previously used Internet Explorer with VP:
The thing is that VP looks by default for Internet Explorer.
1. rename the IE file, so that VP will not find it.
2. add the the path of the netscape.exe file in the vplaces.ini
   it will look like:
[Files]
Extensions=*path*
Pictures=*path*
Tours=*path*
PersonPict=*path*
Browser=c:\program files\netscape\communicator\program\netscape.exe
Favorite=C:\PROGRAMME\VPLACES\vplaces.txt

The browser path will look something like the one above. However VP will not recognize Netscape if it can find IE. Therefore the little renaming trick.

Now save the vplaces.ini and execute VP. It will start with Netscape and you can undo the renaming of your IE so that you can use both again.

If you want to make it easy and/or you reinstalled VP without ever starting it:

1. Go to your Internet Explorer folder
2. Rename the file iexplore.exe to iexplore-temp.exe
3. Start your VP
